Individual Portfolio Management Services
The annual fee for portfolio management services is billed quarterly in advance based on the market value of the assets on the last day of the preceding quarter.
On an annualized basis, ALCUS’s fees for portfolio management services will be charged at a flat rate of 1.00% of assets under management. Fees will be assessed pro rata in the event the portfolio management agreement is executed at any time other than the first day of a calendar quarter.
ALCUS will either invoice the client directly for portfolio management services or payment of fees will be made by the custodian holding the clients’ funds and securities via direct deduction from the client's account.
Please note:
Our primary custodian is TD Ameritrade Institutional. They charge $9.99 per stock trade if you receive your statements electronically, otherwise, they charge $16.99 per trade. Their complete fee schedule can be found on the 'Forms' page on our website. If you desire another custodian, their fees may be more or less than those listed below. These fees are in addition to the portfolio management fee described above.
Retirement Plan Services
Fees for services related to company-sponsored retirement plans are customized based on the specific scope of advisory services requested, number of participants, and the amount of plan assets. Please contact us for pricing.
Other Services
ALCUS is compensated for initial financial planning and general consulting services based on the firm’s negotiable hourly rate of $200.00. The hourly fee charged to the client will be detailed in the signed agreement for services and will be directly dependent upon the client’s financial situation and the complexity of the requested service. If the client chooses to engage ALCUS for financial planning or consulting services, the fee shall be due upon completion of the contracted services.
Continuing financial planning services, which will include meetings to review the client’s progress towards stated goals as well as reviews and updates to the plan, are available. ALCUS’s annual retainer fee, subject to negotiation, is a minimum of $2,500 and these fees are payable quarterly in advance. The fee will be pro rated in the event that agreement is executed on any day other than the first day of a calendar quarter. However, ALCUS’s fees are negotiable and arrangements with clients may differ from those stated above.
